Things in progress.
Half-formed ideas, side projects, and experiments I'm working through. Some will graduate into the work proper. Some will stay here as documented curiosities. A few will just disappear, which is also fine.
Not everything here is meant to be a product. Some are tools I built for myself, some are concepts I'm trying to articulate, some are just things I've been making.
My workshop isn't a distillery, but in my heart of hearts it works like one. Raw material goes in, time and tinkering do their thing, and every so often something worth bottling comes out.

Taste you can trust, wherever you drink. SipStir learns what you like and carries it between the bar, your friends and your kitchen, and every pour says where it came from: my canon, a bar's, a friend's, or an honest improvisation. A live prototype is testing the core idea, that trusted taste can travel.
The bar runs on Back Brain, so every drink in my canon carries the evidence it came from. Access is by request for now, and I approve every seat at the bar.

BEACH BUCK
ActiveA personal brand identity exploring how an individual practice becomes its own kind of institution. Built around a circular masthead device that ties together Engines of Change, Future Frames, and Alchemy Creations under one mark. Currently iterating on type weights, badge variations, and how the system extends to merchandise and signage.
Obliga.do
ActiveThe promises you make at work, caught before they slip through the cracks. Obliga.do reads across your meetings, email, and chat, finds what you said you'd do, and surfaces it in one inbox you can clear in under two minutes. The build is live and running daily, with design partners next.
The Cocktail Archive
ConceptA long-running personal archive of cocktails I've made, drinks I've ordered, and encoded monthly specials from a regular bar. Considering whether this becomes a small site, a zine, or just stays in a notebook.
Ask Engines of Change
ActiveAsk a question about media, streaming, video tech or AI and get an answer drawn only from the positions I've published in Engines of Change. Every claim cites the essay it came from, and if I haven't written about it, it says so. The same engine runs inside AI assistants as WWAS (What Would Andy Say), and SipStir's bar is built on it.
Back Brain
ActiveA personal archive that turns what I've written into positions I actually hold. It reads my essays and proposes what I seem to believe, and nothing counts until I approve it with the passage it came from attached. It already powers the bar in SipStir and Ask Engines of Change.
Terminus
ConceptA concept for a professional intelligence operating system. Nine layers running from ingestion through publishing, named for Asimov's Foundation. The first layer, Back Brain, is live; the rest is in design.

A club for people who make things. Rooms to work in, rooms to record in, a long table for dinner, and a bar for the conversation after. Somewhere in Portland, if the numbers hold.
Membership rewards what you make and how you treat the room, not who you know. That's about all I can say for now.
The door is locked. Knocking is encouraged.
